Grier Roofing was wonderful!!! We recently had some work done to our roof, unfortunately the contractor did not complete the job as expected. Not long after he said he was "done" we noticed that some places were not nailed and/or glued properly. We had worked with Grier Roofing in the past, os we contacted Chris Grier. He immediately sent someone to look at our roof, the y quickly and courteously evaluated the situation and made suggestions on how to fix the issues caused by the original contractor. We agreed on everything and he within just couple of days not only sent a crew to complete the repairs but had them complete to satisfaction. In closing I would and will recommend them to anyone who needs anything at all done to their roof!!! Thanks for a grat job guys !!!!! ~ Carolina S

Seriously-- do not choose a roofing company until you call Grier! They were FAR more responsive than the other big names we contacted, their price was remarkably more affordable and we have a great new roof! Yay! Brian Stuart's customer service was truly exceptional and we have to agree with the person who even referred to him as "kind". Unfortunately, we waited a little too long to look into a new roof and had developed a pretty bad leak, making for a stressful state of affairs. He was very patient and forthcoming with all our questions and such a relief to have this taken care of so successfully. Yay again! P.S. In 2019, I had another company come out to install a new "Slate style metal roof", and fix my leak. The roof turned out beautiful. Yet, the leak was not fixed. Over the course of 2020, I had to call the same company back out 3 times to fix the leak. Apparently, they thought that smearing tar over the base of my roof vent, would fix the problem. It did not. Fed up with the other company, I called Grier Roofing. Mr. Joaquin Collazo came to my house, to inspect my leak. He took pictures, both inside and out, and was able to explain why the problem had not been resolved. Unfortunately, Grier Roofing does not specialize in "Slate style metal roofs". But, they were able to put me in contact with someone who does. Thank you Mr. Collazo, for helping me understand, and for pointing me the right direction, in order to resolve this. ~ Thomas G

We had used Grier Roofing for some rental property in the past so we knew they were a good company. Recently our home sustained severe tornado damage and we wondered if they could handle such an extensive repair. The answer was a resounding YES! Mitch Henderson in the Greenville office came out right away and gave us an estimate which was very accurate and did not end up having any unforeseen overruns. He explained the process to us clearly, left shingle samples with us to look over before we made a final decision on which shingles to choose, and answered all of our questions. They worked seamlessly with the insurance company and did a great clean-up. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! ~ Tahnee R

When I needed my roof replaced, I asked several friends and co-workers for their recommendations, and the name that continued to come up was Grier Roofing. I called at the end of a work day and spoke with Jake. He showed up to inspect my roof the very next day. He was extremely friendly and professional and was able to explain the problem and give me an estimate within 15 minutes. Jake dealt with the my insurance company, and he and his crew were at my house the following week to replace my roof. The entire crew was nice and very hardworking. The finished result looked amazing and Jake even followed up to make sure I was satisfied with my new roof. I was beyond impressed with Grier Roofing and their handling of the whole process. Grier Roofing did an awesome job on both our personal residence and a rental property we have! Chris Cody was great to work with and super nice! He came down and gave us an estimate and as soon as we saw the comparison to other companies we knew Grier Roofing was the way to go! We called him and within no time he had his guys scheduled to replace the roof on both houses! They were quick, got the job done, cleaned up the trash and old shingles they tore off and we haven't had one problem! I have recommended them to friends and would use them again if needed! Brian and his crew were unbelievable. I was very stressed over having to get a new roof on the house when i began searching around for a roofing company. i can tell you that Grier Roofing not only came in with the best estimate by far, but they went above and beyond to work us into their already extremely busy schedule due to the fact our roof was leaking. Brian was very knowledgeable and friendly and was able to answer all of our questions and made us feel at ease with the whole process. The estimate was right on the money even with a little repair that needed to be made to the decking. Overall there is truly not enough my wife and I could say about Brian, his crew, or Grier Roofing overall. They are truly the best out there, our new roof is amazing!!!!!! I got quotes for my client from 4 of the top roofers in the area with five star reviews for their house and pool house. Grier Roofing came in just under $12,000 LESS than the other two quotes, which seemed too much of a difference. After a thorough comparison of materials, services, method of installation and cleanup, I accepted their bid. Not only were they lower, they even found the high definition shingles, in the exact color, that the owner wanted. The other two roofers said "they were not available, and wouldn't be for at least six months. I know this to be true as I called the manufacturer to find out when they would be available". My Grier sales rep found just enough of them in one of their warehouses to do the job. That was beyond my expectation! I observed them each day they were on the job, took a lot of photos. They finished and cleaned up a half day ahead of schedule. The roof looks great and the owner is very satisfied. This will be the roofing company I will be recommending to all of my clients. ~ SpeedViper47

Grier roofing is the best roofing company around. Brian was absolutely amazing, he is kind, warming and welcoming. He also was kind and loving to my cats, which is a big plus for a crazy cat lady and an animal lover. We’d just bought a home that had been inspected, only to find out once moving in that the roof wasn’t in good shape and we’d had a giant hole in the roof causing water to leak down into the wall causing water damage. Brian was out here quickly to evaluate the roof and had his crew out here within a week to replace the entire roof. His crew did an absolutely amazing job, the roof looks great! And his men were very kind as well. They’d arrived at 7am and were done by 12:30-1pm, I’d offered them drinks and they were on their way. Thank you so much Brian and his crew. It was so nice to have good honest people for once. If you want a honest, welcoming, kind, reasonable, efficient, hard working and detailed roofing company to do your roof. After a thorough inspection of our roof, we accepted Brian's very competetive quote for the installation of a new one. He advised that, due to the company's busy scheduling, work could not start until early January, 2021. Two days later we were delighted to learn that a window of opportunity had opened on November 18th; Philip and his crew completed the job very efficiently in one day! It's worth mentioning that the work site clean-up was exceptional. Grier Roofing has our our highest recommendation. ~ sandra f

Joaquin is Grier Roofing’s best asset! He knows what he’s doing and he’s a straight shooter about what’s wrong or not wrong and showing pictures. Also gave me options saying why I’m hearing some noise from the roof in the wind but confirming it won’t lead to a leak and don’t really need to do anything about it. In 2008 it was time to replace our roof. After interviewing several roofing companies we decided to go with Grier Roofing. They seemed the more professional with the best price. They did exactly what we agreed upon within the time frame established. Several weeks after completion, we had a sever storm and noticed a leak. Grier Roofing sent out a small team and took care of it quickly. I hope I don't have to get a new roof anytime soon, but when I do, I'm calling Grier again. ~ Greg B

I am a business owner and feedback is always important and can help improve service and/or a product offering. I choose Grier Roofing (Not the cheapest) after vetting two other companies for our 6K+ sqft home. I choose them for two reasons; they don’t sub out their work to a third-party roofing company, and Jake H. Buyer beware…Some roofing companies will sub the installation work out to other companies or group of individuals. Grier employs their workers and Jake’s team has been with him for many years. This is important for the warranty, so be careful! As for Jake H, I would use adjectives like; honest, accountable, dependable and trustworthy to describe him. Jake always responded to my text messages and phone call in a timely manner and took the time to answer all my questions. His team was very professional, cleaned up after themselves and rolled the magnet multiple times over our yard and mulch to find the errant nail. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best…my experience with Grier was a 10 and largely because of Jake. John ~ john k

I had a few asphalt shingles that had lifted and other local roofing companies were not interested in doing the repair. Then called Grier Roofing and spoke with Chris Cody and he was more than willing to help. He stopped by the next day and took care of the repair.
